We treat every person's funeral as if it were someone from our own family

We would be very pleased to talk to your group on the subject of death, dying, and funerals.

As well as organising funerals we aim to be part of a wider movement that encourages thinking and talking about death as a natural part of life. We believe that talking about death reduces our fear of it, and allows us to both live - and to die - better.

We are available to give talks to community organisations, WI and Probus groups, professional organizations, nurses, doctors, schools and other groups. The talks are interactive and informative and tread lightly around areas of death and dying that the participants might find difficult. Each is tailored to the needs and nature of the particular group, who have always found the occasion to be enjoyable and stimulating.

Topics include:

* Funerals……….Celebrations of Life? The Changing Face of ‘The Dismal Trade’

* If death is no longer taboo, how then should we speak of it?

* Creating a personal funeral service.

* Involving and including children in the funeral farewell

* ‘Go as you Please’: an interactive evening with information, and a chance to ask questions about death, dying, bereavement and funerals

* ‘The Last Chapter – an interactive talk with Care Professionals

Newsletter: We produce an informative newsletter for care workers, doctors and ministers. Let us know if you would like a copy of “The Last Chapter”.
